I got this bannister guard primarily because it was "clear." However, the glare from the clear plastic guard makes it a more visible part of my room that I really wanted. That being said, it was easy to install and feels very secure. It had been up less than 10 minutes when my son first started banging on it and using it to pull up to stand. It is very secure. Overall, the product works and gives us peace of mind. Just wish it were somehow better looking or more invisible.

Easy to put up and very durable. I like that it's clear; you can barely tell it's there from downstairs.

Not the most attractive on my staircase but it does the job and my husband said it was pretty easy to install. Basically, it comes with a hold puncher and some zip ties that you attach the plastic sheet to your ballisters. After installation, it was pretty sturdy and my son loves the sound it makes when he bangs on it. For the price and functionality...worth buying.
